The ASTA National Office has recently launched a
community outreach program to partner youth groups with volunteer
string clinicians in a five-session workshop that brings string music
to students at an early age. “Discovering Strings and Orchestra” is a
nationwide effort to introduce strings to students in grades one
through three while focusing on the joy and benefits of playing
strings. We are looking for volunteer clinicians, performers, and
youth groups to participate in the program.
